    Hi All,

My wife and i got married a few years ago and continued with our own names but now the first baby is on the way. As there are only 3 girls in my wifes family and we have moved to the home area. I would like for our children and possibly me to take my wife's surname. Im wondering is this possible and would we follow the same process that a newly married wife would. Or is it possible for the family name to be my wife's and i continue on as normal.

I've tried searching on line but there doesn't seem to be much info on this.

    Any help great appricated

Your children will have whatever name you want them to have - you can still keep your own name or change depending on what you prefer.

Thanks for the responses. It seems pretty straightforward. I'll weigh up the options and go from there.
