BOSCH Classix missing the spin on some washes...

    Hi Folks,
Thought I'd give this a try to see if anyone had a similar problem to a BOSCH classix washing machine.
I've had a funny on-going problem and to be honest I think its the pcb in behind the program knob so I'll be looking at that.
The problem is that the machine misses the spin on the 30 and 40 degree wash. ( i've no other buttons pressed in fyi, its a fairly primitive model , thankfully, lasted 13 years so far! )
The spin actually works on the 60 degree wash. Pump checked...ok. I changed the brushes on the motor the other day, easy enough, they were down to nubs!!
So I'm left with perhaps taking a hour or so to remove the front console and have a look. I'm an electronic technician by trade , may find something, we'll see.
Has anyone else done anything similar to this?

    Thanks in advance

Cant help you you with your Bosch classix, I am sure you have tried everything on You Tube some really helpful tips there.
Found myself in difficulty over the weekend with my Hotpoint Aquarius (Eco) bearings gone rotating like a concrete mixer. Went to check for replacement bearings only to be informed that bearings are in a sealed tub, would need to replace complete tub not financially viable.

The machine is just 6 years old in good nick otherwise and will now be consigned to the scrap heap all for the want of replacement bearings. Not happy with Mr and Mrs Hotpoint

If you can find an easy way to open up "sealed" drums and replace the bearings, and make a video of it, you'll make a lot of people here happy!

A guy who works with me used to replace the bearings in old hotpoint machines but since then hotpoint must have started to seal them, perhaps the repairs was reducing sales of new machines..!!!
Dont know hotpoints myself but if you had a few photos handy perhaps? Pity they now do this.
