I want to study theoretical physics at Galway. But I have concerns over the joint first year with other physics fields. Is the quality of education the same as a course where only theoretical physics is studied?

Follow up question. In my research I noticed theoretical physics doesn't cover special relatively despite other courses covering (Astrophysics) it. Am I wrong or is there a gap here???
