    Hi ,

    I am posting on behalf of a friend .

    She purchased a key for Microsoft office from a crowd called Digital license.NL.

    https://www.digitallicense.nl/

    They emailed her the key but said it was for a different version of office (office pro instead of home and student ) and instructed her to delete her version of office before downloading office pro through the link ;

    https://setup.office.com

    She started getting paranoid and did some googling and it seems that setup.office.com is associated with some scams where remote access to your pc is asked for .

    Has anyone used digital license before ? are they legit ,

    Is setup.office.com a microsoft site ? Is there an way to really know ?

    Thanks

    Perfectly legit and thats the official Microsoft office website link.

    But on a side note, why anyone would pay that kind of money is beyond me when theres perfectly good alternatives for free.

    Could it have been gotten for free ?can you enlighten ?

    Could you recommend some alternatives ? do you mean alternatives to Microsoft office or to that website ?

    He means alternative programs can be used for free, which you can find with a simple "programs similar to Microsoft office that are free" Even google docs is a good alternative. Website looks to be legit. Id say just contact them.
