    Hi All,

Would anybody know is it possible to be awarded the invalidity pension while still on jobseeker's allowance?

    Thanks in advance.

To get invalidity pension you need to have been too unwell to work for at least 12 months and be certified by your doctor as too unwell for the next 12 months.
Unless you have had a massive sudden life changing medical disaster ( stroke heart terrible accident etc).
There’s also PRSI conditions to be met.
    What are your circumstances?

Thanks you Splinter 65 for your reply, just found out (Yes) it is possible to receive I.P. while on job seekers benefit, but you must relinquish your J.B.S. payment. You can only receive one cash entitlement.
