Hi, Looking to get carpet for 3 bedrooms (total ~33 sqm), landing (~4.75m) and stairs. Different carpets for 3 bedrooms and stair/landing but both are €30 per sqyd. I have been quoted €700 for the stairs/landing €1800 for the bedrooms. This includes fitting and a good quality underlay (I'm told). Does this price seem ok?…

Post the actual room sizes and ill have a look. Most carpets come in a 4M roll width, so you will have to buy a little more than you think. Also get the shop to breakdown their quote to allow for the fitting/underlay charges which don't look like is included in their €30yd2 price.
