Does anyone know if there is a shop in Ireland that sells orange peel wall texture in a spray can? Patching a hole in a wall and need to match the textured finish

    Its applied with a roller.

Thin out the plaster/ compound with water so its like a thick paint consistency.

Apply with a thick paint roller. Trial and error really with the existing finish as you would need the hand and same roller of whoever decorated it.

A plastic spongy roller would be your best bet.You need lots of holes to apply the stipple.

I ended up getting a Brillo pad and just lightly dabbled the compound, I used hot water to mix it, the I painted over and put it on thick and dabbled it again with Brillo pad, it turned out pretty decent for a first attempt at patching a hole from door handle

To get an orange peel texture to the finish, and if the area is relatively small, buy a 4 inch SPONGE roller, normally used for glossing. This will give you the desired effect.
