    Small.issue

Failed NCT on rear fog light.I have replaced the bulb but its not working.all other bulbs are working fine on both sides.
Could there be a fuse issue if the other rear fog light is working?
    Car is an avensis

Usually Avensis only has one rear fog light.

It's the right side which should be working.
Most likely there's no rear fog light on left side.

RHD cars have them on right side. LHD cars on left side.
Sometimes they are positioned in the middle, or on both sides, but most cars just have them on one side.

There will be a separate fog light fuse on the car. Most likely culprit

    Check connections and clean contacts.

Make sure it's the correct bulb also. Usually same as brake light. 21 watt. But some have pins in slightly different place.

Then if all that fails check fuse and then it may well be a fault switch.

Or the bulb holder. In that case just use the reverse light bulb holder to test the circuit/bulb holder.

For some reason I presumed it had two rear fog lights.
NCT said rear fog lamps not working or faulty.right side wasn't working so replaced bulb so maybe the left side bulb is reversing light which didn't light up(and I never tested it)

Should only have one on the driver's side.
