Hi I just but a pair of 19 inch alloys on my bmw e90 and ever since I put them on I noticed that when I'm driving the steering will pull to the left and right while driving. Does anyone no the reason why this is happening

Are they original BMW alloy wheels or aftermarket replicas? The rims may require centre spacers to fit the hub correctly if they were aftermarket replica wheels.

Were they balanced when they were fitted?

They are after market ava miami alloys the lad in the shop said to get 10 mm spacers but he said they should drive ok until I get them delivered

Balancing issue usually causes a vibration through the steering wheel from a certain speed.

What size wheels were on it previously, 16"? Are they rubbing?

They were 16 yes and there's no sign of any rubbing there's a 2inch clearance

It could be "tramlining" too which is very common on BMW with large wheels. Google it and see if it's what your experiencing. What brand tyres are on the new rims?

I'd probably get the correct spacers fitted/wheels balanced and see if that improves things.

It sounds like it could be that it follows the bumps on the road and any in even drops. The tyres are Michelin. Is it hard or expensive to fix by any chance ?. Also when driving in a straight line the the steering wheel is almost at a 90 degree turn bit I'm sure that's adjusted with the alignment

I don't think there is a true fix for tramlining other than maybe changing to another brand of tyre. I'd try the cheap things first though including alignment if the steering wheel is off centre, these might make it less noticeable.

It would be the first place to start trying to fix the issue. And a cheap fix.

I'd say it's the difference between 16 and 19 inch wheels.
19s will tend to follow the road surface, like when you cross the centre line (crown) of the road, the car will drift further.

You cannot expect 19s to drive same as 16s. On my audi, 18s are just about the limit to leave the car usable every day on rural roads. 19s turn it into an absolute pig.

    Its Offset.

When you said 'a pair' of alloys, did you mean 4 ?
Were they specifically intended for a RWD car ?
    Are they different front/back ?

I suspect the spacers mentioned are to add the correct offset.
