Battery on Nikon D5200

Hi, I have a Nikon D5200 and I'm having a problem with battery life! I take mostly long exposure land and seascapes using a wireless infra red remote. What I have found lately is that my battery is draining very fast. I barely get an hour out if it! I bought a new battery thinking that was the issue but same thing!
Has anyone else come across this or have any ideas why it might be happening please?
    Thanks

Are you using live view while taking your shots?

Are you sure of the providence of the replacement pack?

My original cann pack is literally double the capacity of the clone ones - its fine but only as its something Im aware of and they are €6 instead of €40.
