Pumped showers not hot

Hi - my Mum has two showers upstairs in her house both running off a shower pump with hot water coming from the cylinder. When she runs either shower separately (with the pump running) she only gets warm water when running either at full hot however when she runs both showers at the same time one shower (the one in the main bathroom) will get hot and can be mixed fine witg cold water. My mum is elderly though and really needs the other walk-in shower to work.

I’ve tried adjusting the mixer settings but no dice. My mum got a plumber in on Friday but he didn’t strike me as very knowledgeable when I talked to him over the phone and sure enough he wasn’t able to fix it even after spending the full day in the house trying to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be and how to fix it? The plumber is getting his mate round next week to have another go....
