Struggling motorised valve

The motorised valve for one of my heating zones is struggling, meaning the head doesn't manage to open the valve. Once I manually help it with the little lever , it is fine and will even close again by itself once no more heat is called for.

When I take off the head and call for heat I can see the motor turning , but when it is on the valve , it seems not strong enough to turn the valve in the open position. It is strong enough to close it again.

The valve is a Sunvic 2 port motorised valve..

Is this end of life or is there anything I can do ? I have a spare but I am trying to avoid having to wire it... nightmare

    Thanks

As per the man's advice. I applied good old WD40 and took some pliers and turned the spindle open and closed 50 times..Now the motor seems to be able to handle it again. Let's see for how long

Sounds Like Valve is on the Way out If you are going to replace I would recommend these never have a problem with them you dont say how many zones you have but I would replace them all at the same time one drain down and its done
