Whilst UTV (now Wireless Group) had a bigger cohort of stations in the past, and I'm not sure exactly how many stations it broadcasts on now, there was an evening show called Total Access introduced around 2014 that was networked across UTV's stations including The Wave, Juice FM (now Capital'd) and Signal 1

I noticed last week that 96FM (presented by Lorraine Murphy) had begun a new show called Total Access in the same 7-10 slot in the evening time. Then I noticed today that it also airs on Live95FM with the same branding, only a different presented (incumbent JP Dillon). A quick look online shows FM104 also air the same show presented by Tara Murray. All three shows have the same branding and logo, which is the same logo as the UK Total Access branding.

Is this the beginning of the road towards networking in Irish radio?

Same playlist and all? Or just a similar format

Similar format. Playlists aren't coordinated but it seems to be mainly CHR driven with 96FM playing a lot more new music compared to the previous show in the same timeslot.

hasn't the fm104 evening show not been called total access for quite a number of years though?
in relation to possible networking in ireland, it's hard to know what will happen. i think we will see it eventually but i think it won't be like the uk. what we may get is just brand networking in terms of shows, and playlist networking. the presenters and other content and the local station names will remain. time will tell i guess.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

The show on FM104 was called the Takeover up to a couple of weeks ago.
That slot has had a number of rebranding since the 90s:
    The funnyfarm
    Floorbangers
    The Fridge
    It’s your call
    The Takeover
    Total Access
