She's a real hero as far as I can see, going back to Pakistan takes serious courage considering its history of assassinations.

I have no idea whether the OP is talking about Malala Yousafzai or Ibrahim Halawa.

Or maybe they had a lovechild and called it Malawa.

Isn't Ibrahim about 30 years of age in reality. Hardly a 'kid' anymore.

aw jaysus, give the girl a break. actually give all the girls over there a break. cant imagine a worse thing than being female in pakistan/afghanistan taliban controlled area. id buy her a pint and have the craic with her. nice girl.

A pain in the arse in my eyes. The world listening to some kid just because she got shot in the head.

She got shot for trying to highlight to the world how the taliban were forcing girls to not have an education by shutting down and destroying schools.

She wanted her generation to have access to education, you know like we have, so they could better their situation and one-day maybe come out of the shadow of an oppressive evil misogynistic group.

A group that further proved her right by trying to murder her, a schoolgirl, then tried to justify it as a calling from God followed by saying they would attempt it again because girls shouldn't be educated.

Since then she's done tons with trying to ensure girls get access to education. For a 20 year old she's done a ton with her life.

But you are right. I can see how she can be seen as a pain in the arse from behind a cushy, educated life in Europe.

    Fantastic in my opinion.

Instead of virtue signalling, she risked her life to highlight the lack of educational opportunities for young women in Pakistan.
