There are a couple of threads similar, but rather than bumping, I'll start a new one.

Have a shiny new shed approx 20m x 10m with a smooth concrete floor poured last summer. Not used for anything special only as a workshop and sometimes to put the car in.

What's the best product to put on the floor to keep dust down ?

you can seal it but it would end up slippery.

get the proper paint that has grit in it or the system you put the grit on top

If I was doing mine again I'd go for a non-slip epoxy finish. Floorpaint just doesn't seem to hold up to any kind of usage , mine has chipped off and looks crap.

Something like a 918 Primer would do the job if you wanted a quick easy way .

It would also be a good base for floor paint if you painted it down the line.

It should really be used before painting a floor anyway .

If the floor has a very smooth powerfloated finish then a standard floor paint may not adhere very well. I know that when I went to look for a floor paint for a very small concrete floor I was told that a pan finish was the best surface for floor paint. Best to seek advice from a floor paint manufacturer or supplier. I used a product from Tor Coatings:

Their technical department were good to deal with.
