Freeview in Laytown/Bettystown

    Is Freeview reception possible in Laytown/Bettystown Co Meath. If so which transmitter is covering Kikeel or Divis?

    Purely interested as an alternative to Sky or Freesat.

    I have no 'on the ground' knowledge of that area, but I'd imagine either transmitter would be worth a shot, with Divis being preferred obviously.

    Having said that though, I'd probably just go for the guaranteed reliability of a satellite setup.

    Yes Freeview is available in the Bettystown/laytown areas with Kilkeel being the preferred transmitter.

    I live in laytown and currently getting killkeel from an attic ariel with no amp. All the ariels in the area are pointing to killkeel. But keep us posted if you pick up divis. I wouldnt mind changing
