Cheapest option for emergency home phone

    Im going to be moving from home and wanted to know whats the cheapest option for me for only calling emergency 999 number, would a landline or mobile(smartphone) phone be cheaper?

    Also i dont own a mobile phone currently.

    Thanks for any help you can give me.

    A mobile phone even without a sim card will connect you to 999 or 112 when dialled. No need to pay anything except keep the phone charged.
