Tax disc wait times

    Paid on the 7th of March. Still no sign. Is that unusual?

    Seems long would normally get mine around 5-7 working days.

    There was a notice on the website last week saying they were taking longer than normal on account of the bad weather, I'd have thought 3 weeks would have been more than enough though, perhaps contact them.

    I taxed my car last month online and the disc arrived about 3 working days later.

    You sure your current address is correct/updated on their system?

    put transaction through on 20th, disc arrived a couple of days ago, so yes, there is something strange happening for a disc from the 7th to not have arrived yet. Did you get the confirmation E-mail for the transaction? If yes, follow up, if no, something went wrong somewhere during the processing.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    Renewed mine on Saturday night, got the disc today, Wednesday, so no backlog.

    Hold onto a printed copy of the application in case the cops want to do you for not paying the tax. Also do not park on public roads or carparks or their little jumped up Hitler helpers will want to do you for non display of tax, €40.00 fine, impossible to get out of even if the motor tax crowd have docked your account but you haven't got the disk yet.

    Cops are easy enough to deal with and understand when you have changed cars, keep the garage receipt with you to prove this, but the traffic wardens and county councils are impossible to deal with. Do not get caught in a public place by those creatures.
