    Hi guys!

Big hand needed. I've been working for the AMT in Heuston Station for few weeks in January and then I left the job. The refused to give me my P45, the gave me back the one I gave them and said "F**k off".

Now I'm on the EmerTax, I tried to go to Revenue but still nothing. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Register your new employment with Revenue to get yourself off emergency tax at least.

Did you get payslips from your former company. If you did, provide a copy of the final payslip from the former company to revenue via myenquiries and ask them to look for the p45 from the former employer.

Thanks! I've sent a copy of my last payslip. Another thing: I'm already registered at my new job, but the old one (AMT) still appears as "active". What can I do about it? Thanks!

Just ask revenue to transfer all your tax credits to your new job for now.

Revenue will also ask your old employer for the P45 if you say you cannot get it from them.

They're legally not allowed to withhold your P45. So a call to Revenue will clear that right up. May help if you requested your P45 via email and they told you to fúck off there.
