Chappos and chapettes of the Android persuasion. I'm making the move to Android and looking for recommendations of a decent phone for around the €250 mark. Doesn't have to be S8/S9 levels of good, but decent enough still. I've been hearing good things about the Mi A1 and G5S, but just seeing what my options are.

I'm making the move to Android and looking for recommendations of a decent phone for around the €250 mark.
Doesn't have to be S8/S9 levels of good, but decent enough still.

I've been hearing good things about the Mi A1 and G5S, but just seeing what my options are.

I know it is specifically Chinese phones, but most are now anyway. The phones that you would most likely be recommended and the two that you have mentioned are Chinese brands.

Try Moto G5 Plus. They are pretty decent (battery, clean Android) and come at a reasonable price. You probably could also score a Moto X4 if you raise your budget a bit. Currys in the UK had it for 250 pounds back in January.
