    Hi there

I wondering if I find a job that would employ me for 3 days a week at say €60 a day while on Turas Nua. Would I be still available for Jobseeker's?

You can work for 3 days a week and still be eligible for Jobseekers.
The amount you would receive will depend on your circumstances. If you are single and aged between 18 and 24 years and earning €180 for working then you would receive no Jobseeker's payment as you would be earning more than the weekly rate of Jobseekers for your age.

If you are older than 24, then you will receive some amount of payment from Jobseekers.

If you are working casual 3 days@60e per day approx 72e will be deducted from your payment on JSA.

    Thanks.

Would I still be dragged into Turas Nua sessions? I went to their introduction session yesterday.

You’re not being dragged anywhere. You can decline going to TN if you like and go to SW and see if there is another state support you might be entitled too.
Is there any particular reason your not getting s full time job?
Are you minding small kids? are you sick? Are you caring for a sick person? Might you be entitled to FIS?
But if your on JSA right now then you have agreed that you be looking for available for and fit for full time work so if you only have a part time job then yes you will have to continue to attend TN so you can be helped to find a full time job.

I'm sure you can .. but in doing so you are in effect declining entitlement to JSA

Sorry, should have said "decline going to TN if you like and go to SW and see if there is another state support you might be entitled to".

From what I understand there is no choice.

You cannot decline. If you do so then your payment will be cut by €44 and subsequently further reduced if you continue to refuse to engage.

The OP may just be on the wrong payment.
There are a wide range of SW supports for people who for particular reasons are not available for full time work.
Lots of people aren’t aware that they shouldn’t be on JSA.
I was talking to a girl today who has been on JSA for 4 years when she should be on OPFP.
This was only discovered when she got her TN letter.

Ah ok, from your post I thought there was a choice of going to TN/Seetec or availing of something else instead, LES or CE for example. Once you're "selected" for TN/Seetec and you're receiving JSA correctly you must engage in that programme, there is no choice. Correct me if Im wrong, just want to clarify. Cheers.

Does anyone know how long do Turas Nua stay in contact with you after finding a Job?

My advisor told me I will be contacted every 4 weeks but never said how long does it go on for?
