Are RHD and LHD wiper blades different

I'm ordering some parts for my own car from a European site and my sister asked me to get wper blades for her Fiat Panda too.

Some of the items on the site seem to mention "for lhd cars" and "for rhd cars" and some others have no mention of that.

Am I correct in assuming that as long as I get them at the right lenght (16 and 23 inches in this case) it's gonna be the same, or is there some other intricacies there like blades being swapped around / different orientation for UK/IE cars as opposed to continental cars?

Blades don't matter which side you drive on. Some manufacturers don't even bother to change the wipers when they move the wheel from LHD to RHD so the driver is looking though an unswept section of the screen.

As long as they are the correct length they should be fine.

Just watch some of the Aero wipers they have spoilers that may not work on RHD vehicles, conventional blades will be OK.

    Thanks guys.
Do you know why then this says "for left-hand drive vehicles"?

Probably because that wear indicator will face the front of the car otherwise...

How will you ever know that your wipers are worn out without an indicator :P
I'm just guessing here, maybe there is something else, maybe the have a spoiler as well, I've seen classic style wipers with spoilers.
