Is it worth taking out full no claims discount protection or is stepback protection sufficient? I have 9+ years ncd - i don't know if there is a cut off Liberty Insurance state that with stepback, 5 years ncd would mean 2 years back if there was an accident - does that mean at 9+ years it would go back to 7 or would 5 be…

Liberty Insurance state that with stepback, 5 years ncd would mean 2 years back if there was an accident - does that mean at 9+ years it would go back to 7 or would 5 be the max?
It makes a difference of approx 80euro on my renewal....
