    Can a non registered person sell a machine to a VAT registered person inside 2years of purchase and can the VAT registered person claim the VAT back?
    Eg purchase machine price incl VAT 24600

    VAT registered buyer buys machine €24600. Can they claim the VAT back without problem ? When does the timeframe for unclaimed VAT expire?

    I know lots of questions so bear with me. The above example of figures is just for simplistic terms.
