Updating satnav

    Apologies if this is answered elsewhere and I just can't find it....

    I have a 2014 Citroën Picasso. Inbuilt Satnav hasn't been updated in a few years. Going to France this summer and want to update Satnav.

    Expensive enough through Citroën website, but about 30 quid to buy it through ebay.

    Any risk (to car) of doing it this way?
