    Alright, lads.

Recently bough an e60 520d M Sport with xenon headlights. However the headlights and the angel eyes both give a yellow hue and I'm just wondering is it possible to upgrade bulbs on both to a more modern blueish colour without much work? Is it just a case of buying new bulbs?

    Cheers.

You can buy xenon bulbs online as direct replacements for the existing ones. What colour temperature you want will depend on yourself but the factory spec colour is 4300k afaik which is sort of ice white with a hint of blue in them. In my opinion factory spec is the best and doesn't dazzle other road users. You can also replace the angel eye halo rings with led ones, again these are available online and should be a direct replacement.

Thanks for the reply. From looking at HID colour charts, I think 6000k is the colour I want as any higher than that and it gets too blue for my liking. So I just need to get the bulbs, no ballasts or anything? Picked up a set of error free. LED bulbs for the angel eyes on ebay for €20.

Yes 6k is the way to go.
I got these myself for same car as you from the UK, excellent quality for a ridiculous low price with great reviews.

Cheers for that. Is it an easy swap for the headlight bulbs? Looking at changing the angel eye bulbs it's going to be a pain in the proverbial :pac:
