Outright racism

There are certain posters that post blatant racism on a regular basis. It's not subtle and it seems that their behaviour is tolerated to a degree. I honestly think that certain very obvious posters who are espousing hate speech on a regular basis should simply be banned from the site.

I suspect I'm not alone in saying that it's depressing to read tangents that basically denigrate certain groups. They view certain people as being incapable of being Irish because of their skin colour. I just don't think that sort of commentary should be a 48 hour ban.

    Hi pitifulgod,

Have you reported the posts in question? If you feel that action should be taken and you've reported the posts, it may be worth dropping a PM to the moderators - or CMods if you aren't happy with the response - to highlight the issue and posts in a more personal and direct manner.
