Before I flush all four corners, has any supplier come out with a different colour brake fluid than straw yellow?

It would be nice to see the new stuff coming through.

You should be able to tell the difference between old and new fluid, the old stuff is generally darker in appearance then the new fluid.

I understand, the fluid in there is fairly fresh but it would settle your mind to see a different colour coming through.

Brake fluid comes in various colours. Check with your local factor.

I haven't seen the different colours for many years. You used to get red and green as well as the yellow/colourless.

DOT 3 DOT4 and DOT 5.1 specifications only allow clear to straw colouring.
DOT 5 is purple because it is Silicone based not glycol.

Due to some US law it's no longer blue.
