Wedding in Kinnitty Castle

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had a wedding in Kinnitty castle recently? I'm considering it and I'd like to get an idea of whether you'd recommend it and also have you any idea of the price range for such a venue?

Is there any similar venues in the midlands that you'd recommend, possibly with a more modern dining area? The bride to be seems to want a more open space rather than the feast hall style room.

    Thanks in advance.

It's 5 years since we got married there but it was fantastic. You practically have exclusive use of the venue which is great. The food and staff were amazing. I know what the bride is saying but on the other side it is actually alot more intimate than a large open plan venue. In the entrance area to the dining hall we set up a photo booth also so alot of people congregated in this area.

Was at a wedding there but it’s years ago so memory wouldn’t be great!

But another similar place with some more modern space might be Castle Durrow. Was at a wedding there more recently and it was fab.
