I'm sure I'm not alone in facing this issue but I am eager to receive advice.

I completed my Ph.D. two years ago; since then I have published one book and I have worked as a lecturer and tutor at two third level institutions on short-term contracts.

From next week I will be unemployed. Given the time of year, I realise that I will need to look beyond academia for work.

I would appreciate suggestions as to suitable employment options. My background is in the humanities.
