Hi just looking for recommendations for a car dealership that sell UK import cars with higher spec than here. One with a good reputation. Trying to change my car and finding it very hard to get good spec on cars. Need to trade my own car in too. Thanks

It depends what model you are looking to buy and what part of the country you are in. Many dealers are importing used cars from the UK including main dealers of the brands you are looking at.

If you are Munster based Niall Mccarthy in Clonmel is importing nice stuff, straight up dealer no messing.

I’m in south east. Looking to buy something with a high driving position eg quashqai, ix35, Sportage, Kuga

Just out of interest why not do your research and buy it yourself in the UK. Save the cost of the middleman and very comprehensive thread on all you've to do
You don't even need to travel over if you got a transport company to bring it back

I need to trade in my own car. Don’t want to sell it privately because there are a few things that need to be done soon hence me wanting to change it before putting money into it

Ok, just be aware a dealer won’t actuslly give you more money for your car than a private seller will, I can see the sense in going through a garage of course.

I know. I hate taking the hit it’s just a combination of factors means that trading in is my only option unfortunately
