Anyone here have any knowledge on this situation - I've a friend working on the fathers farm not going through any books - he did earn money off farm in 2017 but not accumulated to much, maybe around 1k that he can show proof of. To qualify for the national reserve 2018, he needs to show statement of earnings.... What is the best way to go about this? Is there a form he needs to send to the revenue with what he earned? Any advice welcomed!

    hell need either
    1. notice of assesment if self employed
    2. P60 from employer (if employed outside the farm)
    3. common practice in farming families to have children, spouse, parents helping out and not being paid - a letter detailing time spent on farm for no wage by father or farm owner
