Has anyone else had issues with adding payment methods to your Google account?

A month ago started to try with Vodafone credit, still ongoing

Then said I'll try PayPal or credit card to no joy

Set about trying to fix it with Google, they are terrible, anyone but Google's fault

Added a credit card to herselfs account in seconds

They changed something about payment ID and could see my old paid apps etc,but still couldn't add PayPal or credit card

Strange, never really had a problem myself.

Used my Vodafone credit about an hour ago to purchase a subscription on my Play account and it went through fine. Must be account related.

Friday randomly started to work, nothing from Vodafone, so hopefully it keeps working

5 over every month so be handy to use that credit, Google play music also back working so don't need Spotify now

Yeah I'd rather spend it than leave it expire.

You said PayPal wouldn't work also so sounds like the problem is on Google's end, although Vodafone should be able to double check their end too.

Especially if/when the app is abandoned(as seems likely, then you didn't really lose money

Google told me its Vodafone/PayPal/bank fault and to get onto them

Vodafone told me its Google fault and to get onto them to tell them to contact Vodafone about it

Amazing to think two BIG name companies could be involved with such a mess
