Spots on external walls

    Hi,

    Firstly if this is the wrong forum I apologise!

    I have noticed the following (See attached pictures) appearing on the interior of my house. They are on the interior of the north facing gable wall (The hall way, neither of the bedrooms with the same wall exhibit this behaviour). Each spot is about 1 or 2mm in diameter. The house is an approximately 1980's 4 bed detached house and the construction is a solid block.

    I originally thought it was mould and have tried to use bleach and anti mould to wash off, but this has no effect. It's as if the spots are behind the paint.

    I'm at a loss as to what this is or how it can be remedied.
