New bike advice!! Izalco Race vs Contend SL vs Emondo ALR 4

    Hi guys.

    Getting my first road bike and was looking for opinions/advice.
    I've narrowed it down to the following with my local bike shop:
    - Focus Izalco Race (either 105 or Sora version)
    - Giant Contend SL1 (105)
    - Trek Emondo ALR 4 (tiagra)

    Firstly I've done very little cycling to date and plan mainly to do duathlons and maybe the occasional longer spin at weekends but mainly the bike will be for shorter spins. I can't see myself doing any 80km plus rides.
    I can currently cover the duathlon distances(approx 20-22k) on my mates Scott Speedster in the few that I've done at about 30km/h pace so I don't know would that pace influence the bike I should go for.
    I've a leaning towards the Trek Emondo ALR4 after looking at reviews.
    All the bikes feel reasonably the same geometry and comfort wise but then I wouldn't really feel the difference with my experience.
    Any input/advice appreciated.
