    Hi ,

Just got delivery of a cylinder and it has three holes on the top. One for immersion, one for hot water/vent as expected. However there is a third hole approx 3/4 inch which I was not expecting seen at the bottom of the attached photo. Any ideas . Cheers.

It's to provide a hot water supply to a shower pump, the idea is that the pump will not pick up any air from around the top of the cylinder.

    Thank you my man.

Can I blank this off if I’m not using it and if so what fitting would I need to ask for?

    Thanks again

Depends on the size, 3/4" usually.
    Ask for 074 blank plug.

Make sure not to use any plastic pipework when connecting to a hot water cylinder.
