New job & pregnant

I'm just looking for some advice if anyone can help me. I applied for a job with HSE in June 2017, had an interview in July and got a letter to say I got number 12 on the panel.
Just before Christmas I received a phonecall to say I was next for a position that had come up. In January I then found out I was expecting my 2nd child.
I then sent Garda vetting which was sent to back to the HSE last week. I'm now 4 months pregnant and this process is taking so long.
I desperately want this job and I will 100% go back after maternity leave.
I haven't said anything because nothing is set in stone until I sign a contract but what if that contract takes another 3 months to come and I will then be 7 months pregnant.
I read on the website that if I cannot start within 3 months then the job offer will be withdrawn. Is the same even being unable to start due to maternity leave?
I really need this financially and I'm not sure where I stand and starting to get stressed as creches are extremely full in my area.
If anyone can offer advice I would really appreciate it.
    Thank you!

Working in the HSE, recruitment takes a long time for any position to be filled.
By long time I mean months.

You could contact the HR department in the hospital/ facility the job is in. They might give you an idea of when the job will be offered in writing and what maternity leave you would be entitled to.
