    Hi everybody,

So I've been selected for JobPath because I'm long term unemployed, my issue is that I applied for a college course through the VTOS initiative which starts in September. The course is only available to people on jobseekers allowance and I'm worried that I'll no longer be eligible to study if JobPath insist I find a job.

I finally felt I was moving forward by enrolling in this course and now I'm stressed out that JobPath will obstruct my entry into it by making me find a job I won't be happy in. The whole point of enrolling in the course was to upskill and eventually pursue my desired career path.

Has anyone here been through a similar experience? Anybody have advice for me?

    Thanks.

i would suggest you go talk to the social immediately and show them the application was from before your referral to jobpath. i got my 'invitation' just there too and like you i finally felt like i was moving forward only to have this spanner thrown in the works.
