How long does it take for An Post Redelivery to deliver?

    So I missed the delivery man for a few minutes 2 days ago in the morning and he left me an leaflet where it said I could take the parcel it in the depot in the same area where I live or have it redelivered with Redelivery option .. on the website it say it takes 2 working days but the friggin parcel is in the same area so what are 2 days actually for? I'm avoiding going out but since 2 mornings ago no trace of the delivery man.

    So how long does it take for the parcel to deliver to my home? I'm tired of being "hostage" in my home to wait!

    Delivery van may operate from a large depot while they leave it at the DU for you to collect (smaller, closer). So he has to go retrieve it and then it goes on the route.

    It nearly always makes sense to collect it yourself. Such is AP.

    MOD: @atchooo Do not create multiple post for the same question. Also no need to bump a post when you only waited a couple of hours. If you have an urgent question contact the delivery company, here we are just users like you that can only advise with our own experience but we can't do that id you do not give any information like courier company, delivery area, etc
