Anyone know if Melatonin is covered by the medical card ?

No. Only one preparation is licensed and it isn’t on the list of drugs covered on the medical card. Other preparations are available as unlicensed medicines but would have to be paid for privately.

Is there a website that lists all the medications covered by the medical card ?

    Not quite.
The Primary Care Reimbursement Service's website (www.pcrs.ie) has a link to what they call the List of Reimbursable Items, but it's incomplete! A previous poster mentioned UnLicensed Medicines. Some ULM's are allowed on the GMS (but not Melatonin), but they're not on the List!
