    Can Humax FVP-5000T replace my Humax hdr-1100s I use for FreeSat channels here in Ireland

    Is it a freesat box, Im confused by the freeplay branding/labelling

    No, that is a Freeview box for terrestrial, like Saorview, it won't work on a dish. The Freeview play function won't work in the republic.
