    Hi folks, i have skoda superb (2007 2.0 tdi, 8 valves , engine code BSS ,) here. Have to replace camshaft , camshaft bearings and tapets. Any idea where to get and how much will cost.

    I would start to shop around with https://www.micksgarage.com and other websites to compare. I just had a quick look on Micksgarage, a camshaft is 220 EUR for a similar model.

    Thanks for try . Well, micksgarage definitely wont be site where ill order engine parts, maybe fine for service parts.
    Got quote off one shop, but a bit too steep price wise.
    Have something in ebay, but would like to buy here, once will find reasonably priced.

    Any good motor factor should be able to supply a kit. We generally use a kit with an AE camshaft and INA lifters. Never had a problem with them. Costs about €360 inc VAT.

    There are extremely cheap kits on eBay and the like but they are very poor quality so best avoided IMO.
