Universal car seat covers

Hi all, I got some universal seat covers,
for my C4 Grand Picasso, the fit nice enough, Just one problem the covers, cover over the 2 tables at the back of the front seats, thinking of cutting , round the tables and using some velcro stick to hold covers in place, any other ideas on this I'd be very grateful,

I’d say you would have to run a row of stitches around the edges of the cut you make in them to stop the material from unraveling and fraying.depends on the material and the direction of the cuts you make to it.just get someone to run the edges through a sewing machine
