Had a plumber in today when I was at work to fix downstairs heating he said a valve had to be replaced behind washine machine and he bled all radiators in house. This evening I noticed when I turn on boiler to heat the water it sounds like there is water running constantly and sloshing about in the boiler. Its quiet loud and not sure if I should not use it and call the plumber back again. It was never like that before. Any help appreciated

Probably air in the system !
Is there an automatic air vent at highest point on the boiler ? If so is it open ?
Dont mix it up with a pressure relief valve / prv as sometimes they wont seal if you pop them.
Also is it open vented or pressurised system ? If pressurised , after you vent air from boiler or rads it will need topping up. Always match top up pressure to same as whats in the pressure vessel - if new usually 1.5 bar.
If your not confident, your best off calling him back ..

Always read pressure when system is cold , as pressure will rise when hot.
