    The father contacted his solicitor around nine months ago in relation to questions transferring some land. Deal didn't go through.

    Two days ago the father received letter to say law firm was being take over and new firm name etc. Letter also included bill for dealings relating to the transfer enquiries. Father has no issue paying same - but I am interested in knowing is there a time limit in which bills are normally sent out?
