Phone as remote for TV

I keep getting a prompt on my phone to set it up as a remote for my TV.

    WTF???

I have zero interest in this, but cannot seem to disable the prompts.

Can anyone help? I've searched the app listings, it's not there. There's no option to disable notifications when it pops up like with other notifications.

    After this, I'm lost.

    :(

Is it peel remote on a Samsung ? If so just delete the app.

It is. I couldn't find it in the app listings the other night when I was driven demented by it, but it's there now.

How do I delete it? I only have the options of "disable" or "force stop"

How did it even get there in the first place???

Jesus, sometimes I just hate technology!
