    Hi,
Hope you can point me in the right direction, I'm a member of my local camera club and we're in the market for a new projector and screen. We would be using it to project still images along with the occasional video. We would need a portable screen (large one) as well. we'd also need a projector stand as well and a hardshell carrying case
    Budget is about €2500
Any advice and suggestions greatly appreciated

Give projectorpoint.co.uk a shout with your requirements and let them do the donkey work for you, they are generally there or thereabouts on pricing and cover all the major brands

With that budget you should just about be able to get an 8' fastfold type screen with front and rear projection cloths, and a full HD projector, there would be enough space in the case for the screen to store the projector, if you included a dress kit for the screen it would be a fairly smart set up, and much more impressive that any portable tripod screen.
