Cool locations around the city to take a band photo.

Hi Folks, looking for some suggestions for the above. The music is electronic/chill/ambient so I'd like to have a "cool" back drop.

I'm thinking some underground carpark, with those bright fluorescent tube lights. Not sure where to go. Anybody know of a cool movie style location?

Also, White Street carpark with all the graffiti.

Any other ideas? Maybe the docks.

Was gonna say the docks down by odlums.
Ye could also see about getting in around St. Kevins.

The Cooperage (UCC) up across the river from the Mercy is cool too.
Or out along the Blacktrock to Passage West greenway has some nice stone arch bridges.
Or down Tivili docks near the containter terminal.

Are ye looking for a sort of delapidated industrial or "derelicte" setting?

I was thinking more modern/city/urban setting.

But delapidated could be an option too.

It's a big enough building, even has its own swimming pool!

It's not in the city. It's out by Inniscarra, about a 20-30 minute drive from the city.
Cool place tho.
Obviously you'll have to get permission for to shoot in this place, it's not a public place.

Where are you cycling from? Dripsey?
It's a good 25min drive from they city centre.

Kurt Cobain done this iconic shot down the end of Grand Parade.Its a pity they took away the concrete bollard.It should have been left there for tourists to recreate the shot.
