Just looking to find out whether Cathay Pacific 777-300s have changed to 3-4-3 yet ?

Seat guru still has them as being 3-3-3 but I'm not sure if it's out of date information.

Still 3-3-3. Seating plans for all aircraft and layouts are on their website under travel information/flying with us/aircraft and fleet.

    That's great thanks.

I'll be on their A350 from DUB - HKG so that still shouldn't be bad either with 3-3-3 providing I get a window seat.

The 773 will be taking me onwards to MEL.

Cathay's A350 is a sweet machine, I had an emergency row seat on it whilst travelling to HK last year.

Is that non stop from Dublin or with one stop in London.
That's all i can seem to see or their website.

Yeah 12 hours non stop. It's not starting until the beginning of June.

Hong Kong is more of a half way stop-over between Sydney and Dublin than any of the ME3. With two pretty similar longhaul flights instead of an ultra-long haul and one medium-haul with the ME3.

Did the Dublin to Hong Kong flight on Monday and thought it was brilliant. Took a little over 11.5 hours but it felt a lot quicker. The A350 is very fresh inside I thought. The one I was on will be 2 years old in August.

Not that it isnt wide but I'd really hate to see any airline go 10 abreast down the line. Though when I think back I dont think it would be physically possible from looking at it.

It is definitely an aircraft of the future and I'd love to see what EI do with theirs if they do get them.

The second leg of my journey on their 773er ( B-KQQ) was not as pleasant. While it's a fine looking aircraft and also my first time on a 777 it was not as comfortable as the A350. The guy who was sitting beside me was no help either in fairness. Personal hygiene wasnt the top of many people's list I found.

For an aircraft that was nearly 4 years old I was shocked when comparing it to the 20 year old 747 I was on last year.

Definitely won't be doing the two flights one after the other again unless it was in business class or something. :pac:

Those Cathay Pacific a350 look geat, the a350 has a great shape to it's front and cockpit windows.
And Id say they look very fresh inside, It's great see them operate from Dublin.
