Suzuki Swift clutch adjustment

Suzuki Swift 2007: the clutch needs to be nearly fully depressed to realise the biting point. What is the procedure to adjust this and is much work involved (any idea of cost?)

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

More than likely it is a hydraulic pedal which would mean the clutch is worn and needs replacing.

If its a cable job, its easy to do if you know what your doing. Probably best left for a professional.

The clutch on the 2007 Swift is a cable operated one but has a self adjusting mechanism. If you almost have to let go of the pedal for the clutch to bite you could be looking at a new clutch instead. Same happened with mine a few years ago and to my mother's Suzuki too more recently.
A new clutch isn't too bad price wise if you have a competent mechanic. Get them to check it out anyway.
